Jay L. Harman Fire Equipment Company is a D.O.T. approved cylinder re-qualification facility. Utilizing traditional hydrostatic testing and the latest ultrasonic examination, a broad range of cylinders can be re-qualified.
Ultrasonic Examination eliminates the need to remove the valves, so product discharge is no longer necessary to conduct re-qualification tests.
Our state of the art computerized testing equipment provides highly accurate test methods, quick turnaround service, and re-qualifies all cylinders in accordance with the Code of Federal Regulations.
We test steel, aluminum, and composite cylinders, oxygen cylinders, breathing air, SCBA, scuba tanks, CO2 bottles, fire extinguishers and other cylinders.
